Codoxo Renews HITRUST Certification to Further Mitigate Risk in Third-Party Privacy, Security, and Compliance
Certification validates Codoxo’s commitment to meeting stringent security regulations and protecting sensitive customer information
ATLANTA (July 18, 2022) – Codoxo, a trusted provider of healthcare artificial intelligence solutions for healthcare payers and agencies, today announced it has renewed HITRUST Risk-based, 2-year (r2) Certified status for information security for its entire unified cost containment platform. This achievement demonstrates that Codoxo has met key regulations and industry-defined requirements with its robust security infrastructure and has a high-quality information risk management and compliance program to protect sensitive customer information.

Codoxo’s founders have deep roots in cybersecurity. Musheer Ahmed developed Codoxo’s Forensic AI Platform, which uses patented technology to identify problems and suspicious activity earlier than traditional techniques, as part of his Ph.D. dissertation at the Georgia Institute of Technology’s Institute for Information Security and Privacy. His doctoral research has been recognized for tackling some of the biggest challenges within the emerging health data infrastructure in the United States. Mustaque Ahamad, Codoxo’s Chief Scientist and Co-Founder, is a professor of computer science at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

It has also adapted remote access policies that became a higher priority because of COVID-driven workplace changes.
