Together with MVP Health Care, Codoxo will co-present “From Detection to Investigation: A Use Case of Impossible Days.” Led by Derik Ciccarelli, Healthcare Fraud Analyst with Codoxo, and Sandy Caffarella, RN, CPC, CPMA, AHFI, of MVP Health Care, the session will detail how MVP Health Care used Codoxo’s AI-based fraud detection platform to help analysts quickly identify suspicious activities. MVP Health Care will share best practices for managing a major case of this kind, in which Codoxo’s AI platform flagged a suspicious specialty provider for billing impossible days by exposing a significant spike in the baseline of claims per month, primarily for their Medicaid population. The presentation is scheduled for Monday, July 31 from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. MST in Room Trailblazer B.
